Service includes: oiling, sanding, new grip, new anti-scuff sheet, edge tape, toe binding and any glue and clamping work that may be required.  If you provide your mobile phone number, you can even receive video updates (via WhatsApp) of your bat during the repair process! Your bat will look as good as new when finished!

N.B. This service is only for bats being posted into our London store for refurbishment/repair.  The customer is responsible for sending in their bat to IJC. The cost of this item includes return postage and packaging (in a custom made double-walled bat box), but not the postage and packaging to get the bat to IJC. 

The turnaround time will be around two weeks upon receipt of the bat.

Express deliveries to UK Mainland addresses will be dispatched within 1-2 working days and will always be trackable.  Please allow an extra 1-2 days for delivery if you have chosen the cheaper Standard Delivery option, which may not be trackable.  If you have ordered a cricket bat with the “knocking-in" service, we ask that you allow an extra 10-14 days for dispatch, or at peak periods (March-July) it can sometimes be up to a week longer.

UK Mainland, UK Non-Mainland and Northern Ireland orders up to the value of £19.99 will be charged £3.99 for Standard Delivery (usually arrives within 3-4 days) or £6.99 for Express Delivery (usually arrives within 1-2 days), and orders between £20 and £49.99 are £5.50 Standard Delivery and £8.50 for Express Delivery.  If your order value is £50 or more, Standard Delivery will be free and Express Delivery is £9.99.

For orders outside of the UK, we offer a ship by weight service, meaning your shipping cost will be calculated at checkout based purely on the total weight of the products ordered.  A few (Standard Delivery) examples are as follows:

Please note that some Standard Delivery orders outside of the UK will not be trackable, but all Express Delivery orders will be.  All 1kg+ orders outside of Europe are sent via air freight couriers (usually DHL or UPS), which are fully trackable, and usually take no longer than 3-5 days to arrive regardless of delivery location.

With the exception of small items (that will be sent through the post and put through your letterbox), all deliveries will require a signature on receipt.  Our couriers will only make three attempts at delivery, so please make sure someone is there to sign for it.  If you are unlikely to be at home on the date of delivery, we recommend that you provide a work address or next door neighbour’s address at checkout.  If no one is at the delivery address when our courier tries to deliver your order, the courier will leave notification of an attempted delivery.  The note will specify if you need to collect the parcel in person from your local postal collection office, contact the courier to arrange an alternative delivery date, or if they will attempt delivery the following day.  Please note, in some cases, these may lead to a surcharge which the customer may be asked to pay.

Regarding returns, all of our products come with a 14 day money back guarantee (extended for special dispensation over the Christmas/New Year period).  This is providing that the item has not been used and is returned as new, in its original packaging and excludes any postal costs incurred, which are your responsibility.  Refunds will only be issued after the item has been returned.  Please note that we cannot reimburse any returns for bespoke items, such as custom made bats or customised helmets.

Whilst we provide a safe and secure online ordering system using SSL encryption, credit card orders placed through the website are done so entirely at your own risk.
